RAYMOND BU

PROFILE

I'm Raymond Bu from Malaysia, born and live in Kuala Lumpur. With the interest in Architecture since young, I have pursue my education in Architecture. I obtained my degree (LAM Part 1) from Taylor's University under the course of Bachelor of Science (hons) Architecture and my masters from University Malaya (LAM Part 2) (RIBA Part 2) under the course of Master of Architecture.

I have work in the architecture industry for 4 years after completing my degree, subsequently went to pursue my masters. In that duration, I have involve in all stages from schematic stage to final completion and exposed in various projects ranging from mass landed housing, private bungalows,  house renovation, high rise residential and mixed development projects. Throughout the working experience, studies and thesis under the tutelage of Kevin Mark Low, I have developed and obtained skills in designing, spatial planning, computer program literacy, contracts and detailing.

Having strong interest in building detailing, I have always intrigued and enjoyed learning and exploring through observation, sketching through imagination and researching. I always believe that as Architect, we are responsible for shaping not only the architecture program, but also its larger civic role of enriching and enlivening the people and community.

Architecture, before it is an art, it must first be conscious of people.
